“ENseñanza de las CIENcias en la Didáctica Escolar” (ENCIENDE) is a project of the Spanish Association of Scientific Societies (COSCE) whose goal is to foster an early interest on Science among the younger children.

We help establishing links between scientists and teachers and schools.  The website serves as the contact point and also as a repository for scientists and teachers who can share their activities there with the rest of the community.

We encourage schools to carry out science projects that can afterwards be submitted to the competitions organized by ENCIENDE at the end of each school year known as “Premios ENCIENDE”.

ENCIENDE publishes a monthly on line newsletter called “Chispas de la Ciencia“ during the school year, featuring science articles addressed to young students and their teachers.
